Management Quota Admission In New Horizon College

New Horizon College is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) an Autonomous College which is located in Marathahalli, Bangalore. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC). The New Horizon College institute had accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade.

Management Quota:

In this New Horizon College of engineering Bangalore management quota admission is done under direct way for undergraduate and postgraduate. Admission is done for both Karnataka and from other states. Eligibility candidates are selected from their academic merit and aptitude. Other than merit admission through management quota, without merit requirement payment is made for the seat.

Admission Through Management Quota:

There are 2 different streams Global and professional which are available for all courses. Both streams are available in merit and management quota.

Eligibility:

The eligibility of students is done with the completion of 2nd PUC or 12th standard or equivalent examination with compulsory English language aggregate of 45% of marks. The candidate should be completed Physics and Mathematics along with Computer Science/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics or they are admitted at affordable costs.

By category wise, the candidate of Karnataka Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste and other Backward Classes are selected by 40% of marks in the qualifying examination in the optional subject. Otherwise, the candidates can get their admission through management quota for their required course.

Duration of the course is 8 semesters in four years.

Postgraduate Admission:

Computer Science and Engineering: Candidate should be passed in GATE in Computer Science and have completed an Undergraduate Degree in Information Technology or Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. Otherwise, courses are offered in payment quota.
Machine Design: Candidate should be passed in GATE in Computer Science and have completed an Undergraduate Degree in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Industrial and Production. Otherwise, courses are offered in payment quota. The Duration of the courses is 4 semesters in 2 years.

New Horizon College of Engineering, an autonomous institution affiliated to VTU-Visvesvaraya Technological University.
